Presentations

As a children's book author, I do presentations with school or library groups; as a motivational speaker, I am open to invitations

Alison is available to do presentations, small and large. Her speeches are inspirational and charismatic. She can address the creative process, writing for children, poetry, translations, and teaching with emotional power. She is available to do manuscript critiques on an individual or group basis.

Schools welcome Alison to fire up students with a fresh appreciation for language. She does large group work, and intimate sessions with individual classes. Her topics include craft projects related to her books, writing poetry, writing stories, workshopping students’ writing, and cultural presentations from the countries where she’s recently lived, including costumes, languages and songs…
